Lovely capture with good detail. Enough blur on the wingtips to show movement. I also like the composition with open space to the left.

I'd say "enjoy your break", Vandana, but I'm sure you'll always enjoy photography so there's no need for those words. Indeed, TL takes a lot of time, and a break is often very welcome.
A nice symbolic picture with the gull taking off. Excellent compo and beautiful work on the exposure. Just a slight, unavoidable OE on the white plumage, and a wonderful transparency on its left wing.
Take care my friend, and we'll definitely keep in touch.

Hi Vandana,

I know You momentarily aren't here, but it doesn't mean I don't comment the image and what's behind it. We know You've had difficult times. Sometimes all of us need a break from a circle like TrekLens... it really takes a lot of time. But we hope You come back once.

About the photo: being an action shot, You haven't had the time for long camera settings, I know. From one side it's a bombastic image, superb sharpness, exposure etc. From another: a vertical compo would even have been more effective, with both the bird and its shadow. Just an opinion only, which doesn't mean I don't like this horizontal version.

I'm not sure if You'll read all these, but I wish You health, happiness, love, and all which is important in life. I truly wish to meet You here again, too. Friendly regards from Hungary, László
