I have rediscovered some old pictures. This is from a trip back in 1992. I don't remember the name of this little town, but I think it is close to Besancon. [Thanks to WENEINEA, I know now; title and location have been updated.]
At the time I didn't own a camera, so I was shooting with my mother's, a Minolta X-700 with two fixed lenses: a 50mm and a 200mm (which was used here).
Digitalized from film using a Nikon Coolscan V ED.
Adjusted contrast and reduced noise. |

Hi Tommaso,
I am so glad you rediscover this photo as this is a great picture. Love the design of the houses and i also love the gree trees background. I also love the water foreground with reflections of the people on top of that wooden bridge.
GRACE
It was worth the effort to resurrect this image. It is a beautiful composition with nice touches of colour, particularly the green of the tree. I have taken the liberty to workshop this shot - hope you don't mind.
The little town is ORNANS, where I had all my holydays when I was a child, and still a great place to shoot great landscapes of the river LA LOUE.
Nice place, nice people living there, and from you a very clever picture. If you go back in Franche comté, try the winter...
ciao tommaso
