The Saint-Remi basilica is a Christian religious building, builds in the neighbourhoods of l' Year millet, in the town of Rheims (Champagne.

After the cathedral, that it equalizes almost cuts some, the Saint-Remi basilica is the most famous church of Rheims. It was attached a long time to an important abbey.

Saint-Remi dates from XIe, XIIe, XIIIe and XVe centuries.

The pope Jean-Paul II accomplished a voyage to Rheims in 1996, to commemorate the 1500e birthday of the baptism of Clovis, first king of the Francs, by Remi saint.

The Saint-Remi basilica commemorated in 2007 his millenium.

Bonjour Sylvain
Une bien jolie image de St-Rémi. Très beau contraste sous un ciel de nuages.Les détails de la basilique sont très nets. L photo penche un peu sur la gauche est cette masse noire indéfinissable sur la gauche est dérangeante.L'idée du noir et blanc est tout de même géniale.

Salut Sylvain,
Belle photo de la basilique, bien mise en valeur par le choix du noir et blanc. C'est vrai que cette masse noire sur le côté dérange un peu mais elle donne une atmosphère et une dimension à la photo.
