[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Actually it took some time to get this effect. First of all I had to find the moment of ideal synchronization the falling glass the shooting. The second issue is flash - I did use high speed sync what means 1/800 s. The third is of course a lot of broken glasses and really big mess at home with several coloured liquids.
It's look difficult, but if you have some time to spend I recommend to try it, a lot of fun and really unexpected effects. :)

Outstanding results indeed. Hmmm...broken glasses?..not sure if the wife will really buy into it or not. Hehehe. You did a great photo here with the unexpected, and combined great colours. Well done.

I like both photos you took and each is different. I like experiments like these and it must have been very rewarding when you saw the outcome. What attracts me here is the simplicity: a glass and some liquid passing it. Very good colours too.
Lucky you didn't end up having many broken Mark II's!

I believe you a lot! Colored liquid is look fun to manitulate, to obtain that. I imagine you had a few surprises!

I like the ondulation in the liquid. Look like he will almost take form of a hand and take the glass :o)
Greetings

Jesteś szalony kolego, oczywiście pozytywnie:) Naprawdę gratuluję zdjęć, świetne wykonanie...potrzeba nie lada pasji,żeby poświęcić czas na takie zdjęcia.Czekam na więcej.Pozdrawiam

yeah...ugh..basically extremely cool shot. I love it. wonderful

Wow I just passed a session with water but you do an excellent job here. I like how you tried again and again and I can imagine what mess you had at the end of your serie.
But you got a very nice result, it almost doesn't look like water anymore, it's frozen in the air only without frosty christals. And, a very lice type of see through eefect of the waterand one can still see the action on the right where it touches the table. Very creative and very succesfull indeed!
Tfs, see you again,
Richard

Hi Lucas, Great shot obviously you have a lot of patience. I like the background and the foreground really makes the red jump out. Special note-glad you explained that it was coloured water not wine, that would have brougnt a tear to my eye. Thanks for sharing

Guess what...there are so many wows from my collegue as they look at this picture !!!

Awesome action shot. Good work.

it took some time, and, well, it reaally worked. ;]

I really would like to try this kind of an image. It imposes action. It really takes a lot of patience and a skillful guy behind the camera to come out something like this.

Your composition is good even the harmony of colours in the image. Truly, an amazing effect.

Swietne te zdjecia, widac ze^podchodzisz do tematu zawodowo, masz niezky sprzet

Superb ..Even though the liquid is falling, the photo creates a serene feeling...

lukas,

very nice experiment and a perfect result.

regards frans

I used to do that a lot in school for my photo class!! Lots of fun! Good shot there!
