[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Watchman is a well known peak within Zion National Park. One of the campgrounds was named after it as well as the Watchman trail. This shot was taken not far from the Watchman trail near sunset. After cooking in 100+ F summer afternoon this was a perfect moment to see a golden glow and usher in a cool evening.

Hi Mike
This is the most impressive image I have seen today. masterful job balancing the contrast of the FG with the golden glow of the peaks. You have the Tokina working perfectly with the DOF on the log and the clarity of the MG and BG. I can see the results of Capture NX here.

Hi Mike,
You waited for the most perfect moment. I love how the late sunlight illuminated the top of the peaks and how the entire photo draw my eyes to those peaks. The details and exposure are both awesome.
TFS,
Niek

well managed contrasts, good colours, from the foreground to the background a lot of interesting to look at and an easy reading of the pic, the verticality is a good choice
