eerie feeling

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A combination of two photos, none of which I was disapointed with but I thought I'd try mixing the two. The sky comes from one shot and everything else from the other. Kind of gives an eerie feeling I think, hense the title.
Is this cheating? does it matter when your happy with the result?
Steve.
Edit: I have posted the two shots I used to create this in w/s. |

great shot Steven
excellent composition and perfect light

bonito efeito do sol atrás das ruínas da casa. creio que a foto poderia ser melhorada com um trabalho de compensação da iluminação a dar destaque à parte muito escurecida da mesma. iria valorizar a composição. A foto, todavia, é interessante.
BEAUTIFUL!!!
Hi Steven. I relly like this kind of photos and this one is just great. I like nice, soft, and on the other side morbid story this photo can make. Great job! TFS!
This one goes to my favorites. :-)
Hope to see you on my gallery.

hi steven.
very nice job on the pp work.
it has, indeed, increased the moodiness.
in no way is this cheating.
i would have liked the old croft to have been a tad brighter. just a personal thing.
nice job.
Brian
my view is in the ws.
ouah steven !!!
J'adore et quelle bonne idée de mixer ces deux photos.
Un super résultat !

Hey Steve,
I dont think is cheating at all, u can say you'r adding effects to the pic. It is similar to the HDR or High dynamic range imaging in photography where you combine 3 or more photos together of different exposures to create special effects to the picture, for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging
I love the composition alot the ruins in the countryside adds mystery to the photo, great job.
