[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During a trip to an abandoned bauxit mine we (my girlfriend and I) met a mantis, which was very interested in my camera. I had to move backward again and again to manage to shoot a good one. Well, you see the result of it.

Indeed the title fits so well to your subject , like a glove i would say ! man It's got the look alright !
Dof is amazing in showing the elongated body of the mantis , shallow but the job is done ok, neat , i only wish you had been able to get the other eye but that is a cool shot anyhow , having to step back from it to make a decent focus is something to experience , not of the nervous type the beast lol!,
