So this is what happens on a rainy Sunday morning...

Yesterday my flatmate and I have been to a forest to take some photos of a prehistoric tomb - something like a cairn or dolmen, consisting of some upright stones, the capstones are missing.

I was unhappy with the results and started playing around with one of the images I took.

First I worked with layers and put the stones into a sepia tone. Then I changed the colour of a part of the forest soil on the right to reduce a purplish tone. Then I added a spotlight to highlight the stones in the foreground. After adding a translucent and softened frame I changed the brightness of the whole image. Finally I used a filter to create the globe-effect. Then I cropped the image.

After a short debate with my flatmate and a good amount of laughter I decided to upload this as it is completely different from everything I have done so far in photography.

Have a happy Sunday! Thanks for having a look. Kindest regards, Britta

P.s: In the workshop section you can see with what this all began! :-)
