Hi Mario. Good macro work with the wasp well perched on this yellow flower. I like the sharp focus and fine details in good muted background. IMHO, tighter crop at the back might be useful in giving space for the wasp to move ahead in the frame. Regards and well done. Jusni

Hi Mario,

You did good on the wasp and the rest of the picture is wonderful bright, so bright I think I have to put on my sunglasses - very attractive!
I have never seen this black and white body on a wasp - be careful not to get a sting then.

A very nice composition, Mário, with excellent colours.
A tad of overexposure in the flower's base, but without a polariser it's hard to dim harsh sunlight. The short exposure time made sure the insect and flower showed no motion blur, so that's cool. I like the near-square format for this.
Did you use Liveview to compose this, I wonder?

It is a nice macro shot of the wasp from a nice angle and good use of bokeh. I find a slight over exposure at the center of the flower, so perhaps a crop of the photo upto the base of the insect will avoid it.

But your capture of the wasp is sharp and in focus.

this is beautiful.. i like the striking yellow flower in this shot.. a bit OE in the middle but that one covered by the sharpness of the wasp perched on the flower.. excellent close up. wonderful detail and sharpness.. tfs..
