[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm not very practiced at self-portraits and spent most of the last month trying to think how I might do one for the scavenger hunt. While walking home tonight inspiration hit me. When I was young I wanted to be an astronomer and hence here I am staring up at the stars. Unfortunately I couldn't keep still long enough for the 10 sec exposure and am a little fuzzy. My friends may say this says something about me :-O I also only discovered the long exposure feature of my camera and am still experimenting a bit. The fact that I'm looking away from the camera also says something about me (you can work that one out for yourselves).

Hi Stephen, I don't know that many photographers enjoying to be in front of their camera's, that's why you usually find us behind them. Great shot. And great entry for the scav hunt.

J'aime beaucoup ce cliché ça fait trés cinéma. Le calme de la nuit, le ciel dégagé et ce vert qui réveille la couleur c'est plus qu'un auto-portrait c'est de la poésie.

Posing for long exposures are a pain! Great job, your movement is not disturbing the photo at all really. It kinda sets the picture. Great view of the stars. TFS

nice angle! you've set up a dreamy and somewhat sci-fi effect here. good job regards, ck

hey!!! Great job ......... i like the green and yellow shades on the trees ..... even the twilight at the end is superbly caught ..... great pic ........ keep it up

Hey Stephen ! Nice one and very original ! The idea of the greens framing the night sky is pretty out of the box. TFS and have a nice week!
