This picture was captured last Summer in Essen-Schür. The distinct colours are partly due to the clear sky that just emerged after a brief icy-rain. The image composition stands in its original frame.

P.S. The purple colour spot amidst the wheat is actually a shirt from one kid, who was playing in the background.

I like this photo because it's very colorful. The hand is nice because we get a sense of scale. Very good detail afforded by the f/8. I am curious what the blue spot is about a third of the way up, about a third of the way from the left. If it's the sky, it sure is deeper blue than the rest of it and I'd consider cloning it out or lightening it a bit because it seems out of place. The size could also be larger....did you know you can post as large as 800 wide?
Otherwise, this is a very good photograph!
