Hi Jonathan, loved the building angles here creating a kind of optical illusion with the slight curve of the sensor and the perspective captured. I like the b/w rendering as well giving it an older feel. TFS I don't see the model as the subject but adds a nice perspective and proportion to what we see.

Hi Jo,

I've never seen such narrow alleyways. This is really an interesting photo full of repetitive detail and a lot of things to view. The cobblestone road with the tall, tall, buildings. I can only imagine their splendor.

thanks for sharing, Lisa

Hi Jean,
Nicely composed architecture photo, great lines and details of, for here anyway, an amazingly narrow little passageway; so charming and, I'm sure, filled with history.
Black and White is the perfect choice for it.
Maybe the hanging bag on the far left distracts a bit, but all in all really good work.
Thanks,
Wilt

There is something quite forlorn about this. She doesn't look altogether happy?

There is much about this photo I like and a few things I don't. I like the idea, I love the location, I like the begrudging interaction of woman and pigeons.

I don't really like the somewhat bland greyscale - how did you do the b&w? Just desaturated? I also find the geometry of the scene a little unsettled. Photos so rich in perspective are incredibly hard to balance but I would have played around a little more with rotation to see if it could be improved.

I also think the absolute clincher here would have been a lower POV, basically from just-above-ground-level. I think that would have made this totally spectacular ... but it's just a theory and we'll never really know. :)
