I took this shot the morning of the hurricane, and the bees, birds and spiders didn't see to care what was fixin to happen. They were just trusting that all would be well.
And so this pic is for Donna and Anders. Knowing that all will be well. Just turn your face toward the Son.
Have a GREAT day!
Linda

***sorry, no HDR here, just a little more saturation after converting from RAW.

Hello Linda,

You see, spiders have eight legs with which to hang on. Winds don't worry them!

It doesn't surprise me that the spider is on a rudbekkia; this sort of flower is still showing colourful and strong, in my garden, whilst everything else is fading fast!

Not only have you got good details of the spider, the flower is just as well focussed and beautifully cropped.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Anna,
nice shop with colour and fantastic contrast. Excellent sharpness and details. composition, well done! TFS.

A very pretty flower on this Sunday morning. I like the lighting and very bright yellow. Hope you had a great time yesterday. TFS

Beautiful vibrant flower Linda.
Good contrast between the center and the petals,
and excellent detail throughout.
Nicely composed too.

Hi Linda, the spider completes this picture, it is fascinating with its colour and pattern.
Good composition; a very appropriate title.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Calamity,
This picture brings some sunshine in my house :-) Well captured and I like the partly cropped flower. The tiny spider is a funny and nice detail. Great posting my cowgirl.

Good grab Linda.
Wonder where the little devil is now; did the sunflower survive the storm?
This has great sharp detail and a very sharp and short DoF that the spider just jumps off the screen.
Nicely composed and presented.

Wilt

Hi Linda, & greetings from Lake Louise in the Canadian Rockies!

I like the spider at the top in this superb macro as it breaks the pattern & acts as a focal point. Good dof & sharpness. Tfs!

Great detail to this little spider here, Linda. I am not a spider fan, but I am a fan of great captures and this is one of those. Good colour and a really great crop to make this an all round interesting and fun image.
Warmest Regards

Wanda

Lovely composed picture Linda:)
That baby spider there is just great, congrats:)))

HI Linda,

Nice shot of the black-eyed susan (I think that's the flower). Great cheerful color with the yellow. Of course, your backyard buffet is just perfect for all of the little creatures.
I especially like the sunlight and the shadows on some of the petals, subtle and effective.

thanks for sharing, Lisa :D
