hi all,
this is a few photos juxtaposed together to create a montage which for me is a tribute to all the people of Thailand. all the photos are taken on Wesak Day, a day celebrated in the grandest way to thank and get God's blessings and forgiveness.
it amazes me that with so much tourism and rapid development, religion and love for the king never cease, they are certainly one nation that did not let religion slip away as they indulge into sometimes negative activities. deep down, the fear and believe for Buddha and their king always comes first....
i don't know how true my words are, it's how i feel when i sat for half a day in the Grand Palace, where the flow of people increase as it grows hotter and hotter in the afternoon.
i hope u guys like this:)
have a nice day! |

Excellent shots, very well captured Eleen, I like your pp work here, good choice of b&w. I agree with what you said... it will never slip away, for some people, it is part of their life. Well done, TFS

Love the creative work in this one, Eleen... nice B&W composite, excellent lay-out, except for one tiny detail; "devotion" in a non-proportional font (see the I is as wide as a D, for instance). Still, a nice translations about your impression of life in Thailand... TFS.
nice compilations. all those photos are nice. but the selections and creation of the texts/captions on the bottom right corner is a bit messy in my opinion. kinda hard to see and distracting. and also the first photo on the left.. maybe you can seperate them instead of overlapping both of them.. becoz both of those photos are really strong photo.. thanks for sharing
