Koldinghus was built in the middle of the 13th century.
In 1808 there was a fire that left the castle in ruins. The castle has been restored and houses a museum which is a centre for cultural activities and special exhibitions of international standing. You may find disappointingly small remains of the "old days" but the architechture is absolutely striking!
This is the winding staircase by the entrance. |

i wish the first foreground lines doesn't exist; anyway, the graphic is highly interesting,
seems the right equilibrate choice of exposure
