[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello Friends.. this arum lily was seen in a neighbour's garden at the beginning of spring. It is a variant of the common white arum lily (also called Calla lily). The petals have green tips whichprovides a lovely contrast with the white of the lily. Al three these blooms were in the same pot and blooming simultaneously. As you can see they were almost at the end of the blooming season since the seeds are already visible on the right hand flower.

The photo is not edited as far as exposure and colour is concerned but I cloned out the distracting background and added a thin white border after cutting out the flower and putting it on a black background before adding my signature and resizing for TL. Enjoy!.

Perfect PP work! Great how the dark background enhances the flower which is excellent sharp, but becareful for the possible OE on the white area of the flower. Superb presentation , great idea!

Hallo Wia,

Dat ziet er bijzonder uit, nooit zo één gezien met een groene tip.
Toen we bij Tsitsikamma waren zagen we wel Calla's zomaar langs de weg groeien, ook dat was voor mij heel bijzonder.
Prachtige presentatie tegen de zwarte achtergrond.
