| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken early this morning over the garden pond, looking out while making the tea, I saw this new leaf standing above all the others flattened by the frost. I was attracted by the spiral shapes of the leaves unfolding.
Grabbed camera and hoped the neibours didn't see.

Levels to reduce background to black.

Cloned out a couple of remaining distractions
Hue and Saturation to introduce the red blush

The colors in this picture are very nice
Lovely use of the light and a strong composition. Having the water droplets adds extra details. Looks more like a picture taken inside a studio rather than in a garden.
