Another picture taken yesterday morning during my walk around Lanark Loch, just a couple of miles from home.

Lanark Loch is an artificial lake built in the early 19th. Century on the eastern outskirts of Lanark, originally intended as an emergency water reservoir but now more a place for recreation. People come here to walk, jog, fish, exercise their dogs, feed the swans and ducks and generally to relax. Occasionally, on a freezing cold morning like yesterday, you can see the odd lunatic with a camera.

The sun was still quite low at 10.25 a.m. and some mist still hung around the shores of the loch and the trees.

Shot in RAW and converted and edited in PSE6.

Hi John,

Lovely capture, your exposure is spot on, all I would suggest if I may, is If you use a 2 or 3 stop grey grad filter you would retain most of the sky detail, you can never really bring It back in software.
