The first rain of the season is called in Hebrew "the shooter" (היורה). This tiny flower (colchium steveni) is called "the shooter's autumnal" (סתונית היורה) as it blooms after the first rain.

This is just delightful.
The flowers look to be shooting out of the ground, full of dynamic energy!
The tilt of the flowers makes an interesting composition and your chosen dof isolates them nicely from the b/g.

dear Tibi,
in Japan we call it "autumn crocus", but actually Colchicums are different kind of species from Crocus.
anyway, lovely and elegant figure of flowers in nice light and also in wonderful stones and fallen leaves and branches.
I like this wild atmosphere so much.

Bonsoir Tibig,
bien raides sur les tiges, ces petites fleurs offrent une belle macro. On perçoit bien l'automne avec les couleurs de ton arrière plan. J'aime bien le jeu d'ombre et de lumière que tu nous montre sur ta photographie
