[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Everyone. Thought I would have a change from infrared and give a try to some other types of black and white film. This was taken using Ilford's Pan F 50+. A slow film with virtually no grain. I have often looked at this side door at Lichfield Cathedral and admired the textures of the wrought iron hinges and door handle against the aging wood.

Developed in ID-11 for 6 and a 1/2 minutes. No P.P. except for crop and reduce for T.L.

Thanks for looking. Phil.

Hi Phil,

I think that this is a great example of a medieval door with all the ornate ironwork on it. It is a piece of art that is overlooked today. Love the tones and textures created in this shot well done.

Regards
Jon
