Hello Barry,I like the shot but I am just wondering whether a lower PoV would have made more impact?
I like the title;I am always amazed by the strength of the sea creating these mini works of art.You have captured some good textures.

Nice simple capture of an interesting sight on the beach. A photographer's opportunity for sure! Good light, detail, although if I may be honest the POV and composition are a little dull - it just looks like you pointed your camera and took the shot without thinking of angles or placement within the frame?
Maybe I'm wrong ... although I do think there are better ways to explore this subject, and personally I would've tried to omit the thing (dip in the sand? another piece of wood?) at the lower left edge of the frame.
