The boy on the left is the youngest son of the woman on the right who has 8 other children, all of them adults ; 2 of her grandchildren here, who like to play with their uncle barely older then them (*).

The old house behind is covered with grass and has new windows, the only concession to a very old style of architecture common in the area.

(*) In east Turkey, I met families with 14 children, I guess that some mothers can have more as they still marry so young in traditional families.

I like this "family" portrait. They all seem very happy. Colors are natural and composition is interesting.
