Hallo Jan,
Dit portrait ziet er zeer professioneel uit. Mooie belichting die hun donkere huid knap doet uitkomen tegen de - eveneens donkere - achtergrond.
Ook de pose en de gelaatsuitdrukking van moeder en kind zijn zeer expressief. Ze kijken niet naar elkaar, staren zelfs wat meditatief voor zich uit, maar je voelt hun verbondenheid.
Het enige wat ik persoonlijk niet zou hebben gedaan, is de "tone softening", maar - zoals ik al aangaf - da's persoonlijk.

Hi Jan, great double portrait, love the skin tones, they seem to glow. Off centre framing and black backgroung work well to focus the attention. The blue shirt adds just enough colour. Thanks

I like the eye contact from both, and the deep colours of the background, and their skin.

An amzing picture ... the contrast is fantastic and the skin tones are soft. How did you get the skin soft like this in CS3 ? I am trying to do it as well, but it's quite difficult

This really is an amazing portrait.
The smooth skin looks like silk and the engaging expressions look right into your heart!
Usually, I would have said the people should have the space in front of them, not behind them, but your breaking of the rule makes the people more forceful and intent.
