| This is a Scottish highlander cow. I cought him up on spring hill road just outside of Petalumas city limits. I really like all the detail that animals have to offer when you get up close and check them out. |

Hey Steven..nice shot...nice black and white tones and details. Good work.

Hi Steven,
Its a Scottish Highlander.
The details you managed to capture are very beautiful and even more enhanced by the conversion to B&W. I like the frame filling composition and the technique to leave things outside the frame.

Steve hello-
What a wonderful capture. Your choice to go B&W enhances the story even more.

Irish? IRISH??? :-)
Scottish, if you don't mind ;-)
This is an unusual point of view of the dear old Heilan' Coo and unusual also to see one in b/w - both aspects work well here for me. Normally they are shown in all their reddish glory in portrait mode, so congrats on doing something different.
Oh, and welcome to TL!
Really got me confuse with that note..)))
Ain't important...)))just blabla...sss
But i really like the shot. Well expose and good details in shadow area.
Nice smooth range of tones, from highlight of the horn to deeper dark tones in fur.
Love the crop and the way you've compose this image..
Well seen and executed.
