| We had just finished baling hay at the ranch and I caught our adorable chocolate lab laying nexxt to one of the round bales. I enhanced the highlights anf colors some with a simple editor and converted the image to black and white. I tried to define the straws of hay more and blur the grass in the background to bring emphasis to the bottom left corner a bit more. I liked how the picture naturally turned out. Hey nice work Kayce and welcome to TL! Hey, I see you are in Texas! I am in Houston. Cool to see another Texas person on the site! This is super nice, love the low profile. I might would have cropped it a little closer, removing space above his head and to the right. Love the BW treatment here! Good job and have a great time here on TL!

Kayce,
I love this one! I think you should have put the pup a bit more off center. It makes for a more interesting photo when the subject is not dead center in the shot. I think you have captured good eye contact and focus levels. The low POV works well too. Nice detail in the straw.
Good work, Welcome to TrekLens!

The mood is captured perfectly here and the b&w is very effective. You can just see the michief!
Salut,
Très belle image noir & blan. Image très nette. Un regard très attentif. Un bon compagnon.
