| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
One of my very very good friend. We've been working hard in my studio lately and try to get new tricks here and there and we had a blast.
Quick portrait I did while testing a pure white background.
It's my new logo... anyone like it ? :-)
__________
TECH TALKS
ok some of you asked me to give more details on my setup.
1- A good basemant. but unfortunately with a very low ceiling.
2- The studio needs to be redone completely, unfinished totally.
3- I use a white paper of 9 foots large as background
4- I use 2 Nikon SB-600 to flash the background. This I found is creating a lot of disruptive light on my main subject so I will probably isolate the 2 flashs with cardboards of some kind.
5- Main light is something I need to adjust but because of my budget, right now I can't but with my next contract I will be able too.
I use a Camray C-300 with a Large softbox on my left
I use a Vivitar Serie One in slave mode with an umbrella on my right. This needs to be flused ASAP and be replaced by another Camray C-300 with softbox.
The flash hitting the background must be more powerfull than the flash on my subject by at least one stop. But it's not always easy to do.
That's it! |

Salut
The all white background is quite nice, the logo looks great too, well done.
Nice job les gars! :)
Nice shot.
Wish you had writtin something about your light setup in your note though.
I think it's a little too bright. Just my opinion. I did a workshop I hope you like.
I like the logo
Cheers,
Jens
