[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I cropped this photo a bit, added some highlights, reduced the exposure, boosted the contrast, and then faded the color to give this photo the look of a painting done in an early newspaper print. I really like enhancing the highlights and shadows on this type of architecture and giving it a vintage look, it makes me feel like when I look at the photo, I'm looking back in time, even knowing that I took the picture this year! I also like the American flag fluttering gracefully in the bottom right corner, I think it adds more resonance and depth to the symbolism of this picture. Suggestion, comments, and critiques are always helpful!

Hi Kayce,

This is a good photograph of the Capital Building! You did a great job of cropping this image. It shows great sharpness and colors. You are right when you say the flag adds to the photogrpah. It is a nice touch. I would just correct the title.
