this one was taken on Eid day... these two are cousins and very friendly :)

i employed the 70-200 lens that day for the majority of the photos :) and the lens is amazing :)

i wanted to resort to grain, therefore i not only went for Sepia tone, but also for a pronounced grain to make it look 'aged' and 'faded' :)

i must admit that it DOES look posed, you be the judge of that :)

couldn't come up with a suitable title for this one, so i request you to kindly suggest one for it :)

thanks for viewing, let's see what you think of this one :)

How about "Connected"? Not just the physical contact between them, but the obvious connection of love they share?

I love the grainy sepia textures of this, and the shallow DOF.

ASAK Muhsin. You captured a lovely moment of closeness between these two pretty faces. The composition is good and well balanced. I would suggest " A moment of Bliss" as a title. The noise which you introduced by design does give an impression of a archived photo. Allah Hafiz.

Hi Muhsin
I hope u had a good Eid :)

Well lets talk about this capture 1st

An excellent capture of the moment, the thing I loved is the very natural expressions of the younger cousin as she’s not at all bothered about camera in front of her but the way she’s looking and smiling towards her elder is simply splendid, there’s no eye contact of her but still this attracted my attention. Sometimes (I guess) its not necessary to follow each and every rule to deliver a good composition :)

Are u using direct flash or there was some straight light in front of models? Coz this catch eye, m never happy with it :P that’s why m planning to get speedlight SB-600 1st (considering my budget hehehehe) :D

Ur grainny want is always ur liking so m ok with it, its giving good view :)

When I saw this picture I felt like “TOGETHER” can be a title (in my opinion)

Hello Mohsin,
let's see what you think of this one :)
when there is D3 and the lens of you choice then naturally it will be fantastic and I can't see any flare in this shot as you can handle on
ISO Speed Ratings 1400
Focal Length 170/1 mm
but for portriats I do check the subjects eye as that says the source of light whether it is used flash or umbrella etc. etc..
Here I can see some thing in her eyes but not sure about it that it could be a electric bulb cause you have high ISO.
There are S/W that can convert colour shots into grayscale or B&W and I have forgotten the name..
Last my compliments, appreciation and regards..have a nice day.

Muhammad Ali Musa.

Very good portrait, Muhammad. Composition and expression on their faces are excellent.

Hello Muhammad,

Excellent double B&W portrait!
Great expression of the lovely young models!
Excellent the background!
Congratulations and TFS.
Sergio

wonderful picture. I worked WS just to remove the noise.
