| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
My current 'thing' is taking macro photos of ordinary things that we find in nature. This gumnut literally jumped out of the garden at me - it is so extraordinarily beautiful in its semi-decayed state.
I don't have any fancy equipment, so just a few study lamps and some white paper for this one. I'd love to know how to improve these photos so any advice greatly appreciated. |

Hello Jennifer, welcome to TL!
This is a very interesting object, when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was some type of coconut. The detail on this macro is excellent, however, I do find the stem a little out of focus though. I particulary like the strands running from the bottom up, I also like the duotone background colour, excellent work well done.
