Hey welcome to TL Johnny! I'm just a couple a miles south of you in Houston and yep, I saw that same moon and was out shooting it! The best way I know how to shoot a moon like that is at a high shutter speed. I was using 1/250 and still blasting out some of the moon. You will also keep motion problems out of it to! Have fun on TL, don't take critiques personal and you will learn alot here!
