I think you've made the photo too small though. The full 800 pixels would be better.

Effectivement, on dirait un dessin ! Superbe lumière ! Une version un peu différente en workshop (suppression des poteaux et cadre). Les couleurs sont très douces. Bien vu !

Bonjour Stéphane,
Bravo pour cette réussite ! Non seulement la luminosité ambiante est bien rendue mais le mouvement de la neige est parfait ! J'aurais bien aimé être renseigné sur les réglages de l'appareil (ouverture, vitesse, trépied etc?) afin d'apprécier un peu plus la technique. La présence de l'arbre devant la maison ajoute beaucoup.
J'espère que la caméra était protégée ! Beau travail, à la pelle maintenant !

Hello Stephane,
this is a such an atmospheric scene. The phrase "in the deep midwinter" comes to mind.The blizzarding snow, the bare trees, naked except for the covering of snow and the light from your house window add to a feeling of drama and even danger. I feel as if I want to urge you to get in from the cold before you freeze to death!

Hello Stephane,I love the effect of the falling snow that you have captured here,it looks almost like a drawing in pastels to me.
The trees stand tall and bold,adding good lines to the shot.
Just a pity that the picture isn't larger.

I saw this yesterday and just had to do a WS on it myself! I love this shot, it's marvelous. But little things wrong with it like the flash is annoying. The COLOR of the lights is WARM and snow is COLD. So I did a ws for you! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hello, Stephane -
You were brave to go out in the storm to capture this shot, but it was worth it. Great use of the artificial light reflecting off the surface of the snow; the tree on the corner and the driving snowflakes really make this shot. The slight softness to the edges of the objects provide a nice effect. Well done.

Voilà une bien belle image digne d'une carte de Noël. Les trainées des flocons de neige transforment l'ensemble en une sorte d'aquarelle indéfinissable mais très jolie.Très belle composition sans trop de modernisme dans le décor. Linda a également fait un beau workshop.

Here is an image with a lot of mouvement. I'm not saying it's blur, if fact there is some very sharp elements in it. But the snow falling and there seems to be a mouvement from a car (I bet you were driving at the same time. But I may be wrong also. Your image has a painting appearance mixed with the sharpness of photography. I like the surealistic effect in it. Nice shot and TFS.
