Tracks of the Grand Canyon

While in the Grand Canyon, we crossed these tracks to get to the rim overlooking the canyon. This photo was taken with the vision that it could make a good B&W.
I did alter the photo a bit by taking the powerlines out with the copy tool, then sharpened and put it to B&W. |

I think you are right about the choice of b/w here, Nicole - it suits the scene pretty well. I also like the portrait perspective and the sense of the tracks leading into the unknown. Pretty symbolic as we await the turn of the year, i guess :-)
i guess turning this into B&W was a minor change ^^
