Stark and unusual, strong light and colour against a subdued sky.
It might have been better to include some horizon to the right of the stones too.

Loved the picture and the note of explanation. Colors are stupendous. I had no idea this even existed! I didn't like the skew of the horizon as I felt a bit of vertigo. The columns would have commanded the scene in a normal view. TFS
