So what is a liger? A cross breed between a lion and a tiger. Seen at the Shenzhen zoo! You can realy see lions and tigers together there.
Have a good Sunday

Thanks for the education here David. The tongue is the little extra that this photo needed. TFS. Karin

Hi David
Nice cat shot and great capture, well done.
Tiger

PS. If i remember this cat liger when adult they are a lot bigger than a tiger and lion, and can weigh more then the mother and father combine together.

Hi David

I've never seen either a lion or tiger in my life and now this combination! Looks very interesting as a species.

beest had z'n verzorger aangevallen.
Kerel was eventjes dom geweest.

Groetjes
Jan

Now is this a Liger or a Tion? (I think the difference is in which species is the father) Either way it's a nice relaxed shot - well focussed and extremely well saturated, giving good definition to the patterns in his fur.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

hello David

Very interesting question for a title and really baffling sometimes trying to figure out what animal family it belongs to.

Good capture with the alert mood.

tfs, bill

Nice photo David, this little fur ball would make a great pet :)
