Hi Karen,
This is a fine composition. The portrait format works well, excellent use of the rule of thirds. Colours look a tiny bit dull though (made a WS to show a different adjusted image). Anyway it is a great posting.

I'm back to TL and a pleasure to find this posting. Have been there and posted from a different angle - Really like this one - shows off the size of the LH. Cliffs add to the quality of your skills. I perfer the original with the beautiful water.

Excellent composition, textbook perfect with good delivery of light and detail.

I recently bought a graduated filter (for around $80NZ, not too bad!) which is perfect for shots like this - it reduced the light at the top of the shot so that the rest of the photo pops out better and the sky looks deep and rich. So fun discovering new things!!

I really love seascapes and when there is a light house even better.You have caught two of my faves here in a wonderfully composed photo. It would be easy to spend every day there and photo that scene from different perspectives and light and weather conditions.... Nice composition (from the POV you've chosen) with the cliffs leading the eye to the lighthouse. Colours towards the back of the picture look a little muted - sea haze?
