The parade held in Fort Worth , Texas to start the Stock show and rodeo is the largest non motorized parade in the US. The parade is all horses (some 290+) groups and bands. And what a mix of horses there are--horses, donkeys, mules, jennies, long horn steers , even a mix of a donkey and a zebra. It was just great. A real challenge for all the horses with all the noise from the band.
There was a real mix also of cowboys, Indians, Mexican gauchos and civil war buffs. This venerable old Chief was in the carriage leading the parade.

Hi Joni,
perfect composition .Good details and beautiful colours.TFS.Necla.

Hello Joni,

This is a great shot to record such a great parade. I would have loved to see it, too. (As a child, I always dressed up as the indian whilst my big brothers were cowboys. Don't tell anyone!)
Three is the perfect number for composition and these three are nicely placed in the frame. I love the different expressions, particularly the young child, and the fine details you have recorded.
This is so interesting!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)
Many thanks for your kind comments on Wanda.
