Hi Martin,
Great composition details are nice and you have handled the light well. I love the tree on right but more could have been seen imho. Please add notes about the pic and any pp work carried and read note guidelines for more advice. TFS
Regards
Jon
A nice winter shot, but for me there are a couple of elements which stop this being an even better picture -
* the white balance seems a little off, and the white snow looks more grey than white. With a 1/640th exposure time I'm guessing it was quite light so perhaps the white balance in the camera setting needed adjusting to cater for the snow?
* the tree being out of the frame feels a bit unnatural and gives a composition which doesn't look well balanced. A few steps back or a shorter focal length could have been called for.
And lastly, as a general pointer, its usually a good idea to add a few words in the photographers note section as to why or how you took this picture. What made you click the shutter at this point? Why did you pick this tree? What PP work, if any, did you do? Just some pointers to other people to either help them learn more about the picture or more about photography.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
