[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After my picture Splash , I received a lot of hints on how to take bouncing drop pictures: Use the flash, dye the water with food colouring to make it more visible, adjust the camera little above the water surface, focus on the spot where the drop will hit the water and many more.

I tried to put them all into practise now. This time, I didn't lose patience that quickly, and 3 hours and 746 photos later, I decided that still a lot depends on chance and fluke.

it's magic
excellent blue for this drop.
I ♥ it

I love the colours and shapes that you've captured here and there's excellent sharpness in the drop itself. And "a lot depends on chance" - never were wiser words written!
Thanks for sharing

Hi
Well captured shot, Soya. The colours are good.I know how difficult it is to get one such a shot. And as ur note clearly mentions, all those hints are essential to get a good pic. Still ,I wud like to stress on two of them, flash and pre-focussing. With a proper combination of these two, you may get good photos with less number of shots.
Still, it all "depends on chance and fluke" .hehe. Keep postin more

Well done Soya,
I love these kind of shots and I am keen to try it soon, thanks for advice. Great colours in the water
cheers

Hey Soya!
Wonderful vibrant colours, interesting subject. I love the focus and detail of the splash!

Good work, cheers!

Considering the large aperture (and therefore shallow field depth), you couldn’t have made the droplet in the centre any more perfectly focussed if you tried. Nice capture.

Hi Soya!

Very interesting picture! Good colours! Nice to see!

Edward
