[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Heavy snowfall across large parts of the UK disrupts travel and closes thousands of schools as forecasters warn of more to come. However it was good fun day for the children playing in the streets and open spaces. I certainly enjoyed taking the photos and pushing the cars that were struggling early morning stuck in the snow just outside my house.

Yes, I've been hearing on the news broadcasts this morning that you've had over 15 cm of snow! Quite a thing for you, I'm sure. I like this view of the rutted street, and the snow-laden trees. The few splashes of color are good too.

Greetings Balwant,I like your angle for taking this shot the S curve of the road takes the eye right into the scene. The red tobaggon really catches the eye & gives a nice punch to the scene. Is this not an unusual scene for London, or do they normally have snow at this time of year?

Ron

Hello Balwant, almost a monochrome except for the tiny splashes of red, and the green of the BT box.
A typical scene of snowy side roads presenting a challenge for the drivers.
I like the road with the tracks of the cars, the snow laden trees and the people enjoying the 'snow experience'.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Balwant

I like the meandering track through the snow. A wonderful b&w image, with good sharpness & contrast. Tfs!

Hi Balwant - this is doing well, and rightly so. And I think it's the gently curving road which wanders thru the frame that really draws the viewer in. The red sledge is a real bonus. Could even be worth desaturating the whole thing - leaving just the sledge in colour. Worth a try!

Best regards, Bob

Hi Balwant..this is a great shot..nice balance to the composition..great tones and colors of the people.
