Just waiting for the next ride...
As an AD I chose to crop the picture this way because it represents the way of living of the Egyptian people: very colorful and chaotic. Everywhere you look it a mess. Polution is a common thing in daily life in Egypt. What a waste of beautiful country...
I, myself, think the mule has been painted. If you look at her eyes it looks like she is wearing an eyeliner which gives her a very cute feminine look. If not, then these two mules are a miracle of nature. I had to take this picture secretly, because in Egypt the people want money for everything. So if they see you are taken a picture, they come to you to collect money, despite of the fact you are visiting one of the most touristic place of Egypt and taking a picture without nobody on it, is very difficult... |

Hoi Anna,

hi ana:
nice shot.
How interesting Anna.
I think I will have to tell my sister about this one so she can see it too.
I have never heard of a mule with an orange mane. I wonder if it as uncommon as I think.
A nice one to share!

"Colourful and chaotic" Good choice of words. I have heard a lot about Egypt, and I understand what you have written.
Good shot for a sneaky one :) Focus is good, and so is the the paintwork on the donkeys.
TFS / Thanks for sharing
Janice
Hoi Esther,
groeten,
Joop!
