[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I post this special tribute to Kathleen (Sandpiper) who today celebrates her first aniversary as a TrekLens member. This past year has presented many events for Kat, both positive and negative, but due to her dedication to TrekLens and her devotion to her fellow members, she has overcome numerous physical infirmaties and has developed her photography skills immensely. The positive fedback and encouragement from the members has brought many new friendships into her life and I am proud to have been a lifelong friend of hers. Kat, this one is for you and I expect to see many more entertaining and educational posts from you! Hang in there, girl!

Technical: Cropped from a photo from the 2003 Bentonville Balloonfest. "Wonder Bread" logo removed and special wording added. Contrast and color enhanced, frame and signature added before resizing for TL requirements.

Well done - For a moment, I thought wordings on ballloon was for real.

Well, John, I thought you had hired a real balloon artist at the recent balloonfest you and Barb went to...This is a delightful surprise from one who seldom post. Great job on the processing work as it appears seamless....it just takes patience, remember???
I am undeserving of the praise you give me, but it is much appreciated. I am just an ordinary country girl that grew up bare foot in the deep south!
Oh! I see you remembered my heart on the balloon? Now that is sweet!!!......:O)

Lol! That's true now as you mention... I knew a saw that combinaison of dots before... But the way you arrange the balloun... It's so great! And she deserve it for shure!
She is the first i feel close when i arrived

Hi, John,
Wow great job, I knew you had it in you. I am impressed both with the quality and creativity. I will have to get you to teach me how to do this. The work on the balloon looks like it was on the balloon not added.
Thanks for a great post. I am sure Kat really appreciates it.
Your friend in crime
Jim

The other John

It's only now that I find this tribute to Kat's first year on TrekLens. She was so happy to receive this great photo of yours. Excellent work with the special writing. It looks so real, as if a hot air balloon was flying in the sky just for Kat. Lovely work John.
Please continue to post your shots. Kat would want you to go on with your favourite hobby. I would too.
Big hug to you and Barb.
