[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
there's quite a few droplet/splash shots on TL so i thought of giving it a go.

took a stainless steel pot, put a piece of cloth inside the pot with light n dark blue textures. mounted camera on tripod with sb-27 flash on 1/8 power. focused the area manually where the drops were falling. now here's the fun part, i took more than 100 shots n out of 100 i got less than 10 decent ones.

i don't like the background personally cuz i think its a bit distracting but on the other hand gives it an animated/graphics look.

pp = increased the contrast quite a bit, slight clockwise rotation, sharpened, cropped n resized

Asalam o Alikum Mehmood
Excellent droplet shot, wonderful sharpness and clear
yes u r rite about the BG but blue goes with blue, a plus point ;)
I tried droplets few days back but finally i concluded "It needs a macro" for perfect capture. However, i was pleased with one capture which i may share with TLs sooner :)

Worth the wait I might say..Great shot! Hmmm I'm thinking of buying a macro lens too..hehehe

Very beautiful creation. Good colours and wonderful light. Difficult project but excellent.

There may be lots of water drop shots but few of them with this quality. Capturing all of the drops in a line like this is superb timing and shows a great technique. And the background isn't a distraction - the colours help the drops to stand out. Great stuff!
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Hi Mehmood,

Once I was watching National Geographic program, I dont remember the photographers name but he told he the speciallist of Sharks for photograph, he took 5000 Rolls means (5000X24) because they use 24 exposure film, and the result was 3 EXCELLENT pictures.

That was his best, 100 shot no problem, keep it up.
