Good contrast and well saturated colours, bringing out the brilliant red of the cloaks.

If any other viewer is interested:
The photograph is of the Life Guards, members of the Queens division, Household Cavalry, and this particualar shot seems to have been taken Chelsea Barracks in London UK. Possibly trainees carrying out Changing Of The Guard duties. If it were a full changing of the guard, the shot would have been taken at 11:00 AM, and there'd be a full troop. You can see in the foreground, shadowed images of the sister regiment, the Blues And Royals.

How do i know this? I spent 17 years in the Household Cavalry myself, and 3 of those years were based in London on the ceremonial duties you see here, the other 14 years were spent on tanks.

Lovely shot of the guardsmen in their winter coats and beautiful horses. They are clearly sitting at ease :-) Lovely colours and sharpness. Good job
warm regards
David

Hi Adrian,
this is a hard moment for me. As it is a very difficult place to go.
At least I can share the beauty and moment of this excellent parade.

Regards,
Foozi
