Anser anser rubrirostris: Eastern Europe. It is the ancestors of the domestic goose. The two subspecies are much similar: the second one has rose bill and the hemming of the plumage on the back and on the wings are more clearly marked, moreover the coloration of the tail is white. It lives near ponds and swamps. Excellent migrant, it flies in great flocks of triangular shape. It is Adaptable to various hambient. Sociable and gregarious, it can be tamed easily.
Head, neck and flanks are tawny grayish. The chest is light gray, tending to the chamois towards the abdomen. The crupper is white. The spout, wide and sturdy, has an orange coloration. The legs are red-orange. The male is a bit larger of the female. The
young gooses are similar to the adults but with darker plumage. Size 70-90 cm. Weight approximately 4,5 kg. Wing span from 170 to 200 cm. Hi! Enrico,
Nice shoot and sharp image. If you could crop a little from the right pane so the subjects have some space in the left to give an impression of action or moving towards to the left. TFs
