[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Falak-ol-Aflak Fort, a landmark and historical monument in Lorestan province, contains the ruins of structures from several centuries prior to the Christian era up to the Sassanid era in the seventh century AD.
The fort, which was known as ’Dezbar’ and ’Shapur-Khwast’ in ancient times, is situated atop a large hillock of the same name overlooking the city of Khorramabad, the capital of Lorestan province.
Research works have not yet led to specific information about the monument but this gigantic structure is attributed to the Sassanid era.
