dear Diane,
surely this picture shows me more bright and clear figure of the bird and its food than your previous one.
but I like the contrasted stripes on the bird in your previous shot.
in this, in my feeling, back sky and branches are good pale and blurred, and the bird looks more light.

This photo is brighter and crisper. this is a wonderful closeup of a hungry bird , its must be cropped larger...... because your focal length was only 42mm....... very sharp indeed..... thanks Roman:0)
