[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Again at my bathroom window (as in my last post)..but this time my subject is from the inside.

I placed an ornamental cross on the window sill, behind it is frosted glass.

In photoshop I applied the filter called: Glowing Edges...I adjusted the saturation to my liking, to hopefully give a photo wth some feeling and mood.

Oh it's beautiful! A very interesting photo with the PP work. I think I would've cheated a bit with Photoshop and used the warp function to line the window frame up with the border. It bothers me that it leans a bit...sigh, my perfectionism comes out again =P lol. For a photo with an entirely different feel you could also crop it so that you just have the cross - it would look like a painting! A wonderful post, thanks for sharing!!

I do like this Dawn. The filter edges are quite stunning - and especially the colours.
I'm not sure whether I would prefer the cross to be in the very centre of the window - yes, break more rules!! Then it would also be in the middle of the brown pattern top left and lower right. Just MHO!!
Cadi has given you a good critique too - it's good to get different ideas... Well, I think so, and I'm sure you do too, dear Twin

Hello Dawn,

Simple yet beautiful image and powerful. Saturation in good and glowing edges filter works quite well here.

Well Done!

Well concieved and carried out in the software Dawn. The blues, browns and golds all compliment one an other. The framing is effective as well. The cross is positioned a bit off as it should be.

Dan

I really like the PP effect here, and the idea, too, of combining these two things to create something so eyecatching and abstract.

Nice job!
Rew

He Dawnie,
The cross in the bathroom?! Funny place so to say :-) Anyway, regarding teh picture, a nice and special effect, it's like a stainedglass window. Fine light and colours like this experiment.
