A curious bird

| I was at home when saw this little bird looking for food in my backyard. I had may camera ready and tried to slide open the glass door and take a shot. The bird heard a noise a started looking for the source and I took a picture. The focus is not sharp, I know. The autofocus of 300mm lens is not fast enough so maybe it moved at the moment I took the picture. |

A curious looking bird and a bird looking curious - nice mixture. Considering this was taken on a tripod the bird is quite out of focus - I'd guess that at 1/60s you took the shot as the bird was moving. It also looks like the sweet spot of focus is slightly ahead of the bird in the grass. Its a good composition being at an angle and got good colours, but the lack of focus doesn't do the shot any favours unfortunately.
