| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Got tagged by my wifey in her personal interview with the Dance Instructors regarding an article that she's writing for a Christian Magazine on topics: Health and Fitness. This is a growing artform here in the Philippines but is folk and social dance that's performed mainly in celebrations, gatherings, and theatrically practiced in the Middle East, Africa, and some Asian countries. Some common misconception is that this is only for Women but that's not the case. Though I can't imagine a guy wearing those hip coins and midribs, urgh...
It's difficult to make a decent moving shot so, timing is of an essence and without good lighting it's more difficult to expose the picture properly without blurring it. Let me know what you honestly think. Thanks! |

Ciao Rossel,
what I honestly think? This is great photo of belly dancer taken from not so ordinary perspective and that is why is so interesting. Wonderful back ground and colours.
Ciao,
P.
Nice angle bro!

I think you did a great job on this - a very interesting and unique POV on the subject, engaging the viewer's imagination via use of the shallow DOF, the mirror reflection, and the near decorations on the belly-dancer's skirt.
The motion blur of the decorations is just fantastic!

Hi Rossel
Superb use of differential or selective focus on the fg to isolate & emphasize the repetitive gold bracelets & trinkets on the womans dress. Tfs!
