First the dog is amazing...and the focus is divine ( for me).
Sometimes in life we have to choose between earth and the sky.
And sometimes when you do the best in earth is not the same in sky.

I like it. I enjoy the warm tone.
Perhaps if the subject was in the last 1/3 oh the shot with space ahead of it? I don't care much for the slightly tilted horizon. It could likely be a wave.
